Criteria

The organisation must be DGR1 registered

Beneficiaries must be in Australia

The initiative is designed by, or with, intended beneficiaries

Aims to establish, or further develop, progressive ideas with the potential to broaden or deepen the scale of impact

The organisation has the capability to measure outcomes

The process

Expressions of interest (EOIs) open

How do I apply for a grant?

Do you fund capacity-building initiatives for not-for-profits?

Yes.

How can I apply for funding?

Australian not-for-profits can apply for a 12-month, Community Grant in our annual, open grant round.

Periodically, the Foundation invites organisations to apply for multi-year Catalyst Grants or Learning for Life Grants, or to take part in our annual Pitch In events.

The Bennelong Foundation UK every year invites a small number of charities to apply for a 12-month Social Inclusion Grants. Learn more here.  

What is the application process?

When funding rounds are open, applicants submit an expression of interest. A select number of organistions will then be asked to complete a full application, which may include site visits and interviews. Grantees are selected by the Bennelong Foundation Directors. Follow us on social media to stay up to date on when grant rounds open.
