Visit to the Dymocks Children's Charity Duck Library Launch in Morwell

It is always a valuable opportunity to spend time with the beneficiaries  of projects we have funded. This August, our CEO Sandra Jacobs attended  the launch of a new Duck Library, funded through Dymocks Children's Charities,  at the Gunai Llidj Multifunctional Aboriginal Children's Service in  Morwell. The new library means so much to the community that even the  local press was there to capture the moment! http://www.latrobevalleyexpress.com.au/story/4891443/library-makes-a-splash/.  The Duck Libraries are delivered to early child care centres in  communities experiencing high levels of disadvantage and without access  to a local library. The new books encourage a love of reading and assist  with building foundation skills for literacy and school readiness.
