Indigenous food garden at Collingwood Children's Farm

Members of the Bennelong Foundation community assisted the horticulturists from the Collingwood Children's Farm in propagating the first plants for their Indigenous food garden. With guidance from the Wurundjeri Land and Compensation Cultural Heritage Council Aboriginal Corporation (WLCCHCAC),  the garden will be built by community groups, and educational tours will be developed to share the knowledge of the plants with the 10,000 visitors to the farm each year. The garden will also be available to the WLCCHCAC and broader community as a resource and source of native Australia foods and plants.
